The forces of Hell have been pushed back from their advance into southern Europe, thanks to the noble sacrifices of the combined forces from the Holy Roman Empire and Rome itself. Trapped between the fortified Alps mountains and the Elite Swiss Guard defenders, evil has been unable to advance for over a year. However, increased

It’s the most wonderful time of the year… You’ve heard me talk about Unioncon before, when the Uniongang puts together the most magical, fun-filled, and raucous gaming event the village of Brookeville, MD has ever seen (probably). Probably around 100 gamers, including the Uniongang (including our California and Missouri regiments), along with some of the

Looking at this blog, you’ve probably been thinking ‘boy this person sure needs another project, preferably something big and intimidating like an entire 28mm army.’ Well here, we are, I am staring down the barrel of getting together a 28mm Empire Army for Warhammer Renaissance. I have joined the Tale of Four-ish Gamers

Academic busts have been making pretty quick and easy display projects, but it is easy to get lost in the weeds. They also lack some of the narrative opportunities of other kinds of mini art. So I think the key for me is to not get lost in this multi-month iteration with them at the
One more step towards gaming out the Fellowship of the Ring! This is just a quick update- as I described last time I hope to build up all the scenarios to play the Quest of the Ringbearer through the Fellowship of the Ring movie (my favorite of the three- The Adventure Begins: Fellowship of the
