Here is a quick little scene I painted for the Badger Games Rob Baker Memorial Painting Contest. We all painted the same little Viking duo this lovely sculptor had put together for them. I’ve been painting a lot of vikings over the last few years, and it was fun to play around with the fire effects! Still a bit sketchy and the light’s not quite right, but I’m rather fond of it given the character in the piece.
