Portcullis is a really awesome hobby blog and paper zine run by @echoes.of.battle which has had a lot of really great stuff on there! I was hoping to get a little hobby writeup on the Cult of the Mushroom God in the next physical issue, but since the article was so long he came back

Yet another epic 2025 convention! The Nova Open has really grown into a cool cross-genre, cross-game event hosted in DC (interesting historical tidbit, at the very hotel where Regan was shot) that has become a staple of my gaming year. And the number one thing about it that I love is that I can take
Week 5 The Grimoire! After the brazen attack of the cultists on the sons of Count Faulkenheim, the city has fallen completely to the warring forces of chaos. The streets run red with blood and green with wrydstone as the forces of Johann and Lothar battle in full blown warfare. City squares are covered in

This was our first venture out into the world of conventions for 2026- hopefully we will go to fewer than last year haha ( Cons of 2025! ). We braved the snowcrete and cold of February to drive up to Lancaster. That’s right, this year they moved Cold Wars to the Wyndham on the edge

Almost getting there! At this point, I’m going to pause on revisiting the transparent veil busts by Owlsome Creations until MFCA later this year. But it’s getting close. I think now its in that endless refinement stage, which has been a real challenge with this skintone and white veil! But almost there! I do like

So this year, I’ve set out to do something I’ve wanted to do every since I was a little kid (at least in Middle School)- enter Golden Demon! I’ve entered several painting competitions at this point, including some really great ones, and I’ve seen a number of Golden Demons, dating back to the old Games

The Mists! Demons! Chaos! The city is coming apart: not only is the violence rampant, but servants of Slannesh and Khorne are prowling the streets, killing at will! The city of the damned is becoming a battleground for the forces of chaos. Time is growing short. In the madness, forces are starting to align- you
