I’m getting ready for the next convention game I’m planning to host, a chance for players to learn more about and engage with the Battle of Monocacy, a battle in the US Civil War that occurred just outside of Fredrick Maryland. The beleaguered Union Army had to throw together a blocking force to slow a Confederate invasion of Maryland. As a first step, I put together the Union Infantry brigades of Lew Wallace’s VIII Corps, rushing to Monocacy junction. Minis are by GHQ.
