So it has been a very busy her with a ton of cool cons, and I’ve been drowning a bit hobby-wise with big pushes for UnionCon and other life things.
But, I had the opportunity to run up quickly to Fall-In by HMGS in Lancaster PA. While I love historicon and the downtown convention center location, it’s still nice to visit the Wyndham on the edge of Lancaster.
I could only make Saturday, and I had signed up to run the new Battle of Monocacy Game and The Raiders of the Malta Convoy Game. So it was a bit of a slog waking up early, gathering both games, and running them both! While very fun, was a bit of a slog for sure. Won’t be doing that again, haha.
Anywho, Monocacy was great fun, resulting in a rebel victory, and Malta was a blast, even with two players. A bit more fine tuning to do on Malta, but the terrain and scenario both need a bit of work for Monocacy. Looking forward to running them again next year!
And here were a few of the amazing boards I saw walking around! Hugely inspiring stuff, well done all. Lots of incredible terrain and minis, and it looked like people were having fun! It is always a treat to see these on display. I only had an hour between games to admire things, and I hardly saw everything, but all the boards featured here looked great!
So while a whirlwind tour, I think all these great games really deserved some highlighting! Hopefully I’ll have more time at Fall In next year!
