Sometimes its fun to just do something simple.
A friend of mine runs the 3D printer farm at work and was doing some test prints on an SLS machine. He printed a tiny castle, but didn’t really have a plan for it.
We were hanging out and he asked if I wanted it, and, with very little thought, I said sure.
Why? Who knows? When would I paint it? Probably never.
But it sat on my desk for a couple weeks, and one morning I just took it downstairs and primed it black before heading to work. The next morning I zenithaled it.
A couple weeks later, I was working at home and just started painting it with contrasts and drybrushing in my coffee breaks. And it was done!
Nothing special, but always very fun just to do something quick and simple and low pressure, like doodling but for miniatures.
Maybe we will use it as an objective in a warmaster scenario!
